Virtual Education Session – Understanding the NDIS a Community Information Session

Commencing at 10.30am. Join us for an informative and interactive session designed to help individuals, families, carers, and community members better understand the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
We’re pleased to welcome representatives from the National Disability Insurance Agency’s (NDIA) Community Engagement Team who will guide us through the key aspects of the NDIS and answer your questions. Whether you’re new to the NDIS or looking to make the most of your current plan, this session will provide valuable insights into:
– Accessing the NDIS: Learn who is eligible, how to apply, and what supports are available.
– Utilising an NDIS Plan: Understand how to navigate your plan, manage funding, and connect with service providers.
– NDIS Supports and Replacement Support Processes: Discover what types of supports are funded, and what happens when existing supports change or are phased out.
This is a great opportunity to hear directly from NDIA staff, gain clarity on the NDIS process, and connect with others in the community.
